What's most useful to hear
Corrections to our calculations
If a coverage figure, R-value, or cost range doesn't match what you're seeing, we want to know — ideally with the source you're comparing against.
Regional pricing
Our cost ranges are national averages. Real quotes from your area help us understand where they break down.
Things that did not work
A confusing step, a result that made no sense, something broken on your phone.
Trade feedback
If you install insulation for a living and something here is wrong in practice, that is worth more to us than another data sheet.
What we can't help with
We're not able to give project-specific advice about your particular house, recommend individual contractors, or assess whether a quote you've received is fair — we don't know your local market or your attic.
For those, the quotes guide covers what to ask and what to compare, and your utility's rebate program is usually the best starting point for vetted local installers.
Reporting a problem with the site
If something is broken, it helps to put the page URL in the field above, and to say in the message which device and browser you were on and what you expected to happen. If it's a calculation that looks wrong, paste the URL from the results page — it encodes your inputs, so we can reproduce exactly what you saw.
We don't publish an email address on the site, because every address that sits in a page gets harvested. The form reaches the same inbox, and replies come from a real person at a real address — so once we've answered, you can simply reply.
